Some Marsupial Gurgle News

8 years ago, I started pulling clips and turning them into ringtones for TBTL Tens on the Facebook sTens group and created a little web page that listed them out. Little did I know that I would be pulling, editing, tagging dozens of clips (Dozens!) from each show and posting them on to a website like this.

I’ve considered pausing that task a few times over the years. It wasn’t until May that I made the decision to stop doing so.

As Luke and Andrew mentioned in the following clips, I will continue to listen to each episode and will still be part of the sTens community. I will also keep the site up as long as I can financially afford to do so. If you like to help pitch in with covering the hosting costs, you can send over a few dollarinis here.

Also, I will still pull some clips from the show that I find funny enough and have the time to do so. I will also keep the Clip Requests Form open for any special requests (time permitting, of course).

Photos from TBTL Live At Sea

I’ve posted photos that I took at the TBTL Live At Sea live show on the Salish Explorer. Lighting and the ship’s motion on the water were not ideal, so I had to do a lot of post-processing to reduce as much of the noise from shooting at super high ISO. The photos are available on Flickr at TBTL Live At Sea.

LRB Summer Picnic Calculator

On Little Red Bandwagon episode #233, the rules on what people should bring to the LRB Summer Picnic, which will be at Woodland Park in Seattle, Washington on Friday, August 18th at 5:00 PM, were cast into stone.

The rule uses some maths based on the numeric value of each of your first, middle and last initials. To simplify things, I threw together a form that will calculate what should bring. The form is found at marsupialgurgle.com/lrbpicnic.

I have also posted the code for the form online in a public Git repository that you can take and play around with if you would like.
