Interview on Little Red Bandwagon

Back on April 14th, the guys and gal behind the Little Red Bandwagon podcart (they discuss topics and discussions from TBTL and the sTens Facebook group page, plus bring on other Tens to talk about favorite moments, etc.) asked me if I was interested in being on next episode of the podcart to talk about this site, Marsupial Gurgle, my history with and favorite segment from TBTL.

That Friday, I hooked up with Christy Wise on Twitter and Mike Frizzell on Twitter and did the interview. Mike was also interested in my history with Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! and the Stats Page that I run and manage.

My interview was published in the second half of LRB Episode 5 at around the 1:16:15 mark, which was posted on April 20th. I’ve embedded the episode below, but you can check out the podcart and additional notes at:

One thing to note is that I mentioned that I would not be able to go to the TBTL Night with the Seattle Mariners on May 28th due to work related stuff. Well, I found out that I wasn’t correct about being on-call that week and thus will be going to the match. Looking forward to seeing the Tens!

Feels Like The Erg Time

Back on show #1846, Andrew used the phrase “erg” (which is short for ergometer) in a bit to describe a rowing machine fish game. I have included links to the clips below for reference:

While listening to that bit, I still had the version of “Feels Like The First Time” that Luke and Sean had fun with, called “Feels Like The Third Time”, stuck in my head.

So, I decided to have some fun with the “erg” sound and the “Feels Like The First Time” bit and came up with “Feels Like The Erg Time”.

I tried my best to emulate the slightly-off timing of the “erg” so that it replicates the same slighty-off timing of Luke saying “third” in “Feels Like The Third Time”.
