Luke, Andrew, Sean DeTore and Jen “Flash” Andrews wrapped up the 24 hour, 10th Vaniversary, TBTL recording with a live show at Re-bar in Seattle, Washington. I made the trip up to Seattle and took photos for the gang. Photos have been posted on to Flickr.
On Thursday, August 31st, TBTL held their annual summer picnic at a new location, Maris Farms in Buckley, Washington. The farm had many family-friendly activities, including: rat-rolling, jumping pillow, pedal carts and tube slides.
I made the trek up there with camera gear in tow to photograph the events. Photos have been posted on Flickr.
Back on TBTL #1849, during Luke and Andrew’s TBTL-a-thon message they crafted for me, Andrew mentioned that, one day, we would raid Marsupial Gurgle and create an show intro solely from the clips from the site (2m 38s mark)

So, I decided to have a go by putting together a “clip show” version of TBTL; in which, I started scouring for various, recurring elements of a TBTL and try to stitch them together.
I decided to name the clip show after something that Luke said on #2284:
Luke: “Blame Associate Producer Linh Pham. Also, possible show title, by the way.”
On the All In with Chris Hayes that aired on December 29, 2016, Chris Hayes and his panel were chatting about various trends and topics from 2016. The last segment was about podcasts and Chris Hayes mentions TBTL and that it’s his favorite podcast. Below is the segment in its entirely and the TBTL mention starts just about the 23.4 second mark.
With the 2000th TBTL show looming near, Joseph Jordan, a TBTL Ten, created a Hollywood movie-like trailer for TBTL 2K using clips from the Marsupial Gurgle and his Hollywood announcer voice. Below is what he created, and it is awesome:
